Sounds as though you're trying to do some offline deactivation.  Don't worry about deactivating... it's not necessary.  The only thing you have to do is process your upgrade in your account.  In fact if you want to keep using your old activated products then definitely don't deactivate them!  Once you do you won't be able to activate them again.

Thanks for the reply. I finally was able to obtain the deactivation key. I downloaded my 2019 upgrade, but I can't find the activation code for that one... and when I go to my licence tab, 2019 doesn't even appear. All that to be able to buy the 2022 upgrade before the discount offer ends tomorrow!!!! This is such a complicated software to upgrade, I never have any issues with my other software, but this one, I tell you...

You actually don't need to install 2019.  But since you upgraded you do have to go through a process in your account to work through the licensing.

It's definitely easier when you always upgrade :-)
