Hello,
I have recently purchased a Studio 2022 upgrade. In the Licenses section of the website, I no longer see my previous Studio 2021 license but I see "With: Allow Studio 2021 - Add-on" under my new Studio 2022 license.
Can anybody explain what this exactly means? I tried to re-install Studio 2021 on my system, but it cannot be activated with my Studio 2022 license key.

Allow Studio 2021 - Add-on" under my new Studio 2022 license.
This means that when you run Trados Studio 2022 on your computer and it's licenced, and then you install Trados Studio 2021 on the same computer, it will run without you having to use an activation code because the fact Trados Studio 2022 is licenced will be enough for it to work.
You cannot use a 2022 licence code to activate 2021.
The feature is intended to help with users upgrading since they can run both versions simultaneously until they have completed their projects in 2021 and are confident to start using 2022 for everything.

It does not seem to work that way on my system. I have installed Trados Studio 2021 after installing and licensing Trados Studio 2022 on the same computer, but it is running in trial mode and it displays the product activation window at startup. This is why I tried to enter the Studio 2022 licence code - unsuccessfully - and then posted my question. I even tried to repeat the whole process from scratch - uninstalling Studio 2021, then uninstalling/reinstalling/licensing Studio 2022 and then reinstalling Studio 2021, but nothing changed.
Try deleting this file and start 2021 again:
c:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16\Data\Studio.lic

Thank you Paul, I have already received a reply from Trados Support, they say that when the trial period expires, Studio 2021 will remain fully functional as if licensed.
