When I insert my activation code (taken from Trados Business Manager 6) I get the following error:
Activation failed.
Invalid Product Key. Make sure that the Product Key belongs to the intended product or product version.
[End error message]
I am asked for an activation code, not a product key.

I am sorry but I can't help suspect that this was contrived to get me to pay for a support contract. SDL says use the Installation ID if the activation code doesn't work, but doesn't provide the Installation ID. You have to file a support request to get one.
I was able to solve this problem. I had to download TBM 5 in an attempt to save my data from BACCS. For some reason, it removed TBM 6. When I reinstalled TBM 6, I was able to activate.
