Urgent assistance needed with license/activation/deactivation issue

Hi there,

I have already posted about this but the support case did not solve the problem and the case was closed by RWS prior to a solution being found.

I recently upgraded a Trados Studio Freelance Plus 2022 license to Professional 2022.

My installation of Studio is activated using the Freelance Plus activation code which oddly no longer exists in my account due to upgrading.

I am unable to deactivate this license on Studio. Both the online and offline deactivation options don't work. I get error code 219.

This problem continues even if I uninstall and reinstall Studio.

I need to deactivate in order to reactivate using my new Professional license key so I can use the Professional functions ASAP. I have a project starting today that I need these for.

Is there any way to force Studio to forget the current activation key, e.g., delete a file from my computer?

Or can someone please lodge an urgent support case, and send me instructions to resolve this? Perhaps it would be resolved using offline deactivation, but I cannot find the authorization certificate it requires.

Thank you,

Emma
