Can I still get a second activation for Studio 2014?

Question

I have a SLD Trados Studio 2014 Freelance licence with one activation (upgraded from 2009 last year). I have just bought a new laptop and would like to run Studio 2014 on that machine as well, so would need to buy a second activation. SLD Sales have told me that to get two activations I would need to upgrade to Studio 2015 freelance Plus. However, I don't want to change to 2014 yet as all my clients ask for 2014. Is there any way I can still get a second activation for 2014?

If the SDL people told you no, then I guess that it is not possible. You may still use your 2014 license as long as you do not uninstall the SW, but because your current license is only for one activation, you need to purchase an upgrade to PLUS to get a second activation. And the way I understand it is that SDL does not sell any 2014 licenses anymore.
