Installing Licence for SDL Trados Studio 2009 Freelance on a new computer

Hi, I have just bought a new computer and I'm transfering all my files & programs on it. I have a licence for
SDL Trados Studio 2009 Freelance and I'd like to know how to transfer / reinstall it on my new PC (as it seems that just 1 can be used at a time...) Do I have to uninstall it from the old one and then I'll have the possibility to install it on the new one? Also, is there no way to install the licence on 2 devices (as I remotely work from a laptop too)? Many thanks for your answers.

You can transfer the license from one PC to another by deactivating it on the PC you currently use (go to Help - Product Activation and click on "Deactivate"). This will make the license available (you can check this in your customer account under Licenses, it will show as "Available").
Before you deactivate, click on the blue link "Show license number" (or similar) and write down the license code because you'll have to enter it on the other PC when activating.
Then launch Studio on the other PC and click on "Activate" when prompted to and enter the license code (that you wrote down previously, if you did not, you can find it out in your customer account).

If you need to have often Studio running on two PCs (e.g. a desktop in the office plus a notebook when travelling), you can buy the PLUS version of the product, this allows you to activate the software on two PCs concurrently. You can find more details on this in the shop on translationzone.com.
