I am writing this on behalf of my team.

We installed Trados 2022 on their systems and entered the license key. The activation did not happen, and it displayed the following error message- “Invalid Product Key. Make sure the Product key belongs to the intended product or version.”
So, I am guessing that this license will work only for an older version.
The laptops with the older version have been formatted and there is no way to deactivate that license to get a new activation code.

• Do we have to try this product key with an older version? If so, which version?
• Or is there any other way to generate the activation code for the 2022 version?

Or is this a totally different issue altogether?
