Can't deactivate Studio License after reinstallation

Question

Hi, 
 I needed to reinstall Studio after having repeated problems working with different projects. During the uninstall process, the program said deactivating the license isn't necessary if reinstalling Studio on the same computer, so I didn't. Now I can't use the license key on the new installation of Studio and I can't deactivate the license online as it's already in use. I tried the "Reset license" button, but only got the error message below. Please help. How do I get back my license?
