Unfortunately I upgraded to 2021 and installed it. Maybe I'm an old dog to whom you can teach new tricks, so I want to return to my well known and far easy-to-use 2017. How can I do?

Please read: to whom you can NOT teach new tricks.
I'd be interested to learn why you have problems... in general the principles are all the same so if you can use 2017 you can also use 2021. Interesting you upgraded to that version since 2022 is the current version so you must have had 2021 sitting in your account unused for a while!
