Could not activate Passolo 2016 after migrating VM from Qemu/KVM to Hyper-V

Hi, 
 we are changing IT infrastructure. Away from Linux based Qemu/KVM to Windows Server with Hyper-V. 
 After I have converted the VM where Passolo 2016 is running from Qemu format to Hyper-V I couldn`t activate our Passolo 2016 license. 
 The license / activation key seems to be vaild. But there seems to be an error with the activation server. I get the following error message.

What do I have to do to get Passolo 2016 activated?

 Try to activate the license offile: https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001383 
 I noticed that you logged a support case for this ( 00784668 ). If the offline activation doesn`t work one of the RWS engineers will help as soon as possible.
