Cannot Download Trados 2021 because it was erased from my Licenses and I don't have the activation code.

I changed the disk on my computer. I have had Trados sincer 2017 and, up to now, I always saw that all of my licenses were in my account. I downloaded Trados 2021, but all my licenses were erased from my account, except for 2022.

When I opened Trados, I tried using the activation code from 2022, and it did not accept it. I Tried the Reset Activation Code option on the Activation box that opens up in the program, but it says the page cannot be reached.

Please help, I have urgent work to do and I need to be able to activate the 2021 version

    I just verify your RWS account and you purchased upgrades during the years. An upgrade is the old license converted in the new one, is why you only see the license for 2022 on the RWS account. The installer for 2022 can be found on the RWS account --> Download tab.

    Please note that Studio 2021 can be used if you install in on the same PC as 2022.

    On the RWS account the license for 2022 appears to be activated on 25.04.2023, please confirm all is ok for you.

    I copy my communication from yesterday below, and give an update: even after I have uninstalled and installed first Trados Studio 2022 and then Trados Studio 2021, I cannot get into 2021 unless I use it as a 30 day trial that crashes. I have restarted my computer after each installation.

    It did not help to have 2022 loaded in the same computer, it will not accept 2021 as being activted.

    It tells me that I can either activate or go to the trial. If I try to activate with the code I have for 2022, it tells me that the Product Key is invalid. If I use the trial, it crashes.

    Please your help in this. I cannot work in 2022 because it just doesn't accept Spellcheck in Word and has other issues. I need to be able to use the 2021 version and I haven't been able to work in two days with Trados, where all my translation memories are.

    What I did today was to unistall them both, an so far I have only installed Trados Studio 2022. This time it didn't ask for the activation code, probably because I had already loaded it on this computer. When I tried working on a project I opened yesterday, it crashed. I erased that project and tried a new one and it appears to be working, but I only had time to try it for a few minutes.

    Right now I have to work on something urgent, so I can't download 2021 and try it. I ask you to please keep this channel of communication open, so I can continue with the complete process. I will get back to you tomorrow with the news on how it goes. I will see if in this process I can also solve a problem I have had for months in which the termbases don't work (I don't get the terms that I have saved with the red line and can get them on my translation by pressing the first letter).

    If you have purchased an upgrade from trados studio 2021 to 2022 and have processed the upgrade, then the 2021 freelance remains without a license code and you gain the license code of trados 2022. When you processed the upgrade, there was also a message telling you , the license code of trados 2021 will be lost. 

    However trados studio 2021 freelance should continue working on your PC as long as installed on the same PC with trados studio 2022, and as long as you dont have to change the PC - for more details please use the following link https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001319#2022

    Your translation memories if they are local TMs then they are saved on your PC, Trados studio does not act like a file repository so all your work and local TMs are saved on your PC in the folder you have chosen when creating the TM or the project (if you did not selected any folder and used the default please click here for more details on where trados saves your work locally )

    If you have created a cloud TM then you can access the TM even in Trados studio 2022 as the cloud account is the same you are using with trados 2022 as with trados 2021.

    No matter what I do,my Trados Studio, both 2021 and 2022, crash after maximum one minute of use. I have uninstalled everything, I then proceeded to: Download the latest version of the License Server Manager, then Trados Studio 2022 and finally Trados Studio 2021.

    All of the above are on the same computer. And I read that after the 30 day trail period my 2021 version would continue to work normally.

    But nothing works! I can't work on either the 2021 or the 2022 version because the minute I press ctrl enter to save something, the program crashes.

    Your help please. I have lost countless hours uninstalling and reinstalling, trying to get the programs to work, and I just end up doing the translations in Word, without the benefit of my translations memories (which i DO know are in my computer, but are no good without the program).

    Look forward to your response with a solution for the programs crashing, this has caused me many lost hoirs of work.
