Problems with TradosStudio2022_17.0.6.14902 - clicking concordance causes freezing

I had problems after installing the last update of Studio (17.0.6.14092). It was not possible to work any more because when I clicked inside the concordance window, the editor freezed and I had to close Trados Studio through Task Manager. I uninstalled all items of Trados on Control Panel and then I ran TradosStudio2022_17.0.5.14757.exe which I found somewhere on my computer. Now everything works as it should, but the problem is, that I do not see Trados Studio in Control Panel and if need be I shall not be able to use the repair/uninstall function.

    Thank you for sharing those links.  I just spoke to one of the support team who verified the solution to the second one you shared as this had a month old support case raised for it:

    "The issue has been resolved after removing the previous installation and re-installing Trados Studio" .

    As far as he remembered this was a Studio installation issue.  He reset the installation folders, Studio was still crashing, so he uninstalled and reinstalled it.  That solved the issue.

    I also raised a case just now for the other one you shared and we can check that one too.  But this does seem to be more of an installation problem than a general bug in the software.  I have not raised a case for you as you went back to CU5, but if you do try it again before the next update, and if you do have a similar problem then please come back and report this and we can log a case for you too.
