A slip with Service Release 2

Having just installed Service Release 2 I found (late) that everything is now Trados Studio 2021

How do I change the default input file directory back to Studio 2022?

Kind regards

Torben

  • I have been running Studio 2022 since its arrival.
A few days ago I installed the update, Service Release 2 (for Studio 2022 downloaded from the URL in the Studio internal notification message, upper right part of the screen.)

After installation I was presented with Studio 2021 SR2 (not realising this)

Hence, I was left with no jobs completed/ongoing) in the job list

Not noticing that this was due to me running Studio 2021 now, I opened a new job.

Couldn't find the translated result in Studio 2022/Projects
Later, I realised that the newly translated job was placed in Studio 2021/Projects

So, How do I get Studio 2022 back?

Hope this helps your understanding of my problem

    Kind regards

  • HI

First, there is no release SR2 for Studio 2022, The release that came out a few days ago is SR1 for Studio 2022.
If you installed this, it would upgrade your Studio 2022 to SR1, but it does not touch your Studio 2021 if you have this installed as well in parallel.
Maybe you simply launched the wrong versionGrin

As for the open projects, they are still there, an installation does not delete any projects. If you created them in Studio 2022, you should find them in the folder "Documents\Studio 2022\Projects". They should show automatically if you launch Studio 2022, if not, you can open them from this location.
