Moving Network License Server for Trados Studio 2017

I need to move the Network License Server for our Trados Studio 2017 to another machine.

The installer we used on the OLD server was called SDLLicenseServerManager1_244.exe so I guess is version 1.0.244.

In the NEW machine I installed LicenseServerManager17.0.134.exe.

If I'm correct all I had to do was click Deactivate All on the OLD server, and then Activate on the NEW server with the same activation key. However, when I try the Deactivate All button I get this error message:

"Provider error occurred, code: 0. Could not revoke this license. - Could not connect to the activation server. Check the activation server address in the provider settings. - The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.". A Google search suggested that the License Server Manager is too old to commuicate with the current activation servers.

Question1: Will License Server 17.0.134 work with Studio 2017 licenses? Or do I need to install the same 1.0.244 version I have on the OLD server? I'd prefer to have a version that would be compatible with upgrading to 2022.

Question 2: What is the correct way to proceed? Clicking "Reset License" in "My Account" and then entering the activation key in the NEW server? Install the new version of the Licence Server in the OLD machine to have it updated and then Deactivate? Use offline deactivation and activation via certificate keys? (that would imply some downtime, I guess)

Thanks in advance
