Licenced user, downloaded RSL on new PC, cannot activate, tried reset without success

Hi team:

I have a freelance DSL Trados licence which is not accepted when trying to activate my new download (on my new laptop).

Attempted the online and offline activation without success. (says server cannot be reached)

Tried the licence reset option, waited an hour, activation again still failed: the message reads:

No connection could be made with the activation server, check the address of the activation server in the settings for this provider...the request was interrupted t<because no secured SSL/TLS channel could be established..

Kindly let me know how to remedy the situation
