Software cannot connect to activation server, and my account shows as activated and only offers deactivation. How can I get activation certificate or connect to the server?

Question

I cannot use SDL Trados Studio 2017 because it keeps asking me to activate but when I enter my licence key, it cannot connect to the activation server. My internet connection test is fine. 
 I tried offline activation but it wants an activation certificate, which I cannot get because when I log in to my account on the webpage, it shows as activated and only offers deactivation. 
 I have a deadline. Please support quick as soon as possible
