Activation failed

I installed Trados 2017 new but when activating the new downloaded 2017 version I constantly get this message:

Activation failed. No connection could be established to the activation server. Check the address of the activation server in the settings of this provider

please can somebody help.

- I am loggged in to my account

- i have a working internet connection

- I had to install version 2017 new as the old version had bugs

- old version was removed before installation
