Studio keeps shutting down >> SDL Trados Studio 2021 Professional (Network SN)

Hello,
Trados Studio 2021 SR2 - 16.2.12.9338

Issue:
Studio keeps shutting down by itself when I try to open a translated PowerPoint file in the Editor. This ocurr in multiple projects - both old and newly created projects.  It happens only with PowerPoint.  It doesn't happen with Excel.
(I have no problem creating projects/packages.)

What I want to achieve:
I want to stop Studio from shutting down when I try to open a translated PowerPoint in Editor. 

What I tried:
I want to see if re-installing Studio can solve the issue.  But I can't.  The following error message pops up when I tried to uninstall (or repair) the existing Studio. 

Error message on Windows Control Panel Programs and Features screen, stating 'Setup did not complete. The error is: Setup has detected a different version of this product already installed. If you still wish to remove or repair that version, you must use that version's installer.' with an OK button.
