Licences Trados 2014/2019 - moving to a new computer

I am planning to move to a new laptop soon. As I do not use Trados very often, I have been happily working with Studio 2014 so far, but bought 2019 a few years ago (and never installed it, so far). Having bought the "plus" version, I have one licence of 2014 installed on a desktop PC, and one on a laptop. In the "Licenses and Subscriptions" area, however, only one license is shown (with a field "*Extra activations" next to it--that is the second license?). My question is: Can I install 2014 on the new laptop before I upgrade to 2019, and how do I proceed: Do I need to deactivate the licence, or reset it?
Or do I need to upgrade to 2019 right away? If so, can I still use 2014 on the desktop?
Thank you!
