I temporarily have no access to my current work computer and would like to transfer the license back to my old laptop. I have several assignments I need to do on Worldserver that are due today. I roughly know the procedure: deactivate the license on my current computer, then activate it on my old laptop.

I am a little concerned, however, that all passwords on Worldserver tied to my clients will be lost. Retrieving those might be complicated.

I was on holiday and, for the first time, decided I would not take my computer in my carry-on luggage. I suppose you can guess what happened next: the luggage did not arrive. It is due to arrive today or tomorrow, but since it was a long-haul flight with a stopover, I am a little skeptical with the airline's estimation and I worry that it may not come for a week.

Ideally, I would transfer Trados Studio and continue working without a pause. No delays, client happy, income secured. But then what if it is really complicated? Plus I would have to go through the same procedure again once my current computer is returned.

The assignments are relatively small and I think my client would understand, so I could ask for either an extension of the deadline or ask them to assign the jobs to another translator.

What would you advise: to wait, or to do the double transfer?
