Hi Sorin. Thanks for getting back to me. Does it matter whether I log in and reset the licence from the laptop or desktop? And what effect will it have on trados already activated on my desktop computer? Thanks

From what I see on out end the license seems to be somehow activated twice on the same device (although that`s not possible). 

You can reset any of the activations, it will not affect the license activated on your desktop.
