Trouble resetting/deactivating SDL Trados Studio 2021 Freelance Plus (offline/online)

For some time now I have had trouble with deactivating my SDL Trados Studio 2021 Freelance Plus.

I only get the options to deactivate offline, but when I tried to deactivate Trados Studio from the application, I get an error both when I use the regular deactivation button and when I use the offline deactivation certificate.

(My offline activation troubles appear similar to this one: community.rws.com/.../license-deactivation-authorization-doesn-t-work)

Since then I have changed the hard drive and now no longer have any installations activated with a license.

Previously I had the online reset option not shown on the image. At that point there appeared to be 2 active installations.

When I tried to deactivate the first (the one I'm currently having trouble with) I got the "An error has occurred".

Resetting/deactivating the other one appeared to have worked although the online reset option now no longer appears.

I would like to use Trados on both my my main computer and my laptop which is why I want to figure this out.
