Attempt to reset activation generates an error

This is a continuation of Case No. 00838834, which I specifically asked not to be closed but which was closed anyway...

I have a licence for SDL Trados Studio 2019 Freelance Plus. One activation (22-Feb-2024 12:00) is the one on my main PC. This is fine, I don't want it changed.

However, the other activation (31-Aug-2020 12:00) must relate to an installation on one of my previous PCs that was not deactivated when I stopped using the PC. I want this activation to be reset so that I can use Studio on my new PC.

When I click on the Reset Licence button in my RWS account, I get taken to the reset licence page, which is fine, but when I click on Reset Licence for the 31-Aug-2020 12:00 activation, it grinds away for a while then says "An error has occurred".

As far as I can make out, I cannot reset this 31-Aug-2020 12:00 activation offline, because I do not have a second installation of Studio that I can use to deactivate it.

Please tell me what I should do next to ensure that I can use this second activation. I tried opening a case using the website but nothing happened.

Regards,
Dan Lucas
