Perpetual License Expired - Can't Reset

Hello!

As with countless other users of Trados, I opened my software today to find that my "perpetual" license is no longer active .... which of course makes no sense and should never happen:

Trados Studio 2022 SR1 Product Activation page showing 'Perpetual License' circled in red with a 'License Expired' message and an 'Activate' button.

I can't simply re-activate by copying the activation code from my account online (in this window:)

Trados Studio 2022 SR1 Product Activation page with 'Perpetual License' tab selected and an empty 'Activation code' field with 'Reset activation code' and 'Alternative activation options' links.

... because it's like, no longer active or something. Makes no sense.

Also, I can't reset the activation code online here:

Trados account page showing 'Reset License' option circled in red with 'Expiry Date: No expiry date' text below.

... because I get this message:

RWS Account error message stating 'An error has occurred' with instructions to contact support or refresh the page.

It seems that the huge number of other Trados user who have posted with the same problem ended up having a support ticket specifically for their problem ... leaving them unable to work for days. And these problems go back many years.

So my question is:

1) RWS, can you please personally resolve my problem by emailing me?

2) Why in the world do perpetual licenses expire?

Thanks!
