I've been using Trados for over 10 years now. Specifically, Trados Studio 2021 Freelance for over 3 years. Use it practically every day.
Today, as I launched it as usual, it asked me to enter my personal details, as if I was setting it up. It even had all my details already entered (naturally), so I just pressed the OK button. After this the program suggested that I activate a license, as if it hadn't been activated long before.
As I had to work on an urgent translation, I opened RWS website and found my licenses. The license info said I had used up my main license, but I still had one spare license with an asterisk (* - for an extra device). So I activated this extra license.
Now I can work in my Trados again. But the license info says I've used up my both licenses (the main one and the one with an asterisk), although I only work on a single PC now. If tomorrow my extra lincese (*) decides to ditch me too, I'll be left with a non-working Trados.
So, how do I get my main license back in order to avoid this problem in the future?
