It may seem a little too obvious, but I must ask: is "Trados Studio Freelance Perpetual" really perpetual? Like, is it a one single payment for a lifetime subscription?
I'm sorry if I'm being redundant, but I'm planning on buying that license. However, I've checked some messages on the Forum, and there are many complaints about "EXPIRED" Perpetual licenses. Can you explain it better?

Please note that indeed we have a perpetual license that does not expire (as long as the operating system is compatible and the licensing system does not become obsolete over many years without upgrading). A perpetual license can be bought from our Trados Store. The current offer is to buy at full price and receive a free upgrade to Trados 2024 www.trados.com/.../
