Issues returning licence to use it on another device

I have a Freelance Plus licence, which can be used on two devices. I mostly use my desktop computer but have a laptop as backup. I loaded the licence on both when I bought the product but haven't used Trados on the laptop for ages. When I opened Trados on the laptop yesterday, it said there was no licence. I checked my account and it said both licences were in use. So I realised Trados thought that one was still being used on the laptop.

I can't figure out which one is in use on which computer though. So I figured I needed to return the licence offline in order to use it again on my laptop. In my account I tried offline deactivating one but it came up with an error message. Same with the other. Then I tried resetting my licence and it also gave an error message. What else can I try? And is there any way of telling which is on my desktop so I don't return/deactivate that one?
