Cannot deactivate licence Studio 2022 Freelance+

Good morning,

I would need to roll back to an older Trados version. So to deinstall the current one, I will need to deactivate the licence. But it is not possible - not online (no connection, which is why I need to go back to an older version, had this problem a couple of times before) and not offline. The deactivation text that I copy/paste is not accepted ...

What can I do now?

Best wishes,

Regina

  • Hi Ana,

I deinstalled the new version and installed the old one, but the problem persists: no connection (to cloud e.g.). That was the solution that usually helped.

So, I cannot connect to the cloud - but I can login from the browser otherwise, I can also work in the cloud and in Studio. But cannot use anything in studio that requires a connection to the cloud. e.g. cannot use the IATE plugin

Yet, Studio offered updating to the newest version (I believe)

I now went back to version 17.2.10.19084

But, as I said: Trados Studio is working, cloud is working, login in browser is working, login from within Studio is not working, no connection to cloud from within Studio

    Any ideas?

    Best wishes,

    Regina
