I have purchased SDL Trados Studio 2021 Freelance Plus and installed on my desktop. Now I would like to use it in my laptop (Using only one gadget at a time).

Excellent, please go ahead.
You have a plus licence which means you can use two devices at the same time. Just activate them both.

Thanks for the reply. I am unable to generate license in my laptop and no. of licenses is shown as 1.
ok - it actually says this:
| Users 1 | InUse 1 | Available 0 |
| ExtraUsers 1 | ExtraInUse 1 | Available 0 |
This means you have activated the licence twice already. You could try a reset on your own first as you may be able to reset your own license by using the Self Service option in your RWS account for Trados Studio 2022.
Use this KB article ( gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge ) and follow the instructions.
Come back if you're unsuccessful and we can log a case on your behalf.
