To process the upgrade you need to click on the blue ribbon from your account, Products and Plans - Licenses. Please make sure your Trados 2017 files are saved, then you can simply uninstall it, no deactivation needed.

Do you mean that once I click on Upgrade (1), Studio 2017 will automatically be uninstalled ?
I will then have to download the Studio 2022 exe file and install it ?

No, Trados 2017 does not get uninstalled automatically, you need to uninstall it from Control Panel, no deactivation needed. You have to install Trados 2022 from your account, Products and Plans - Downloads. https://oos.sdl.com/asp/products/ssl/account/mydownloads.asp After processing the upgrade from Products and Plans - Licenses, you activation code for Trados 2022 will appear and you will be able to activate the program. One more question, is the uninstallation of Trados 2017 necessary in order ton run Trados 2022 ?
Or can it still be present on the same computer ? (I guess Trados 2017 will not work anymore however).

You're welcome, Christele! Once you process the upgrade, Trados 2017 won't work anymore. It is not mandatory to uninstall it, but why would you let it take up space on your PC if it's not functional?

Shall I run the installation of Trados 2022  first, then click on "Upgrade" in the license tab in order to create an activation code to enter?
Or "Upgrade" first, get an activation code and then install Trado 2022 ?
