Today I upgraded from Studio 2022 to Studio 2024 but I can't install Multiterm 2024. When I try from the installer it gives the "setup has detected a different version of this product" error. This may be because I was a beta tester. When I try to uninstall Multiterm 2024 in Windows Settings it also gives me the "setup has detected a different version of this product" error. So, it appears to be a vicious cycle. Meanwhile I'm in a state where I can't run any version of Multiterm 2024 desktop.

Thank you! Here's how we resolved the issue:
1. Go to C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\Trados\MultiTermDesktop2024\Modules (just paste the path in Windows File Explorer and hit Enter)
2. Double-click on the MTCore18.msi and wait for it to finish installing, repeat with MTStudio18.msi and MTConvert18.msi)
3. Mt Desktop should now be installed.
