Hello, My Trados 2014 license has suddenly stopped working. Only a Product Activation popup with the following message appears: "An error occurred while retrieving your license." The popup has a Deactivate button, so I thought I'd try to deactivate and then reactivate again the license. So I pushed the button but got: "Cannot not get your activation code. Deactivate by entering the code manually." (the superfluous "not" is actually in the message) . So I entered the code manually and got another popup saying: Deactivation failed. Cannot deactivate license. - Insufficient privileges (Support reference: InsufficientPrivileges -108).
Before this, Trados had worked just fine, for many years, on the same system and the same OS (Win10 Home 64 bit). The only thing that changed is that I replaced the memory sticks with larger and faster ones. I also made an image of my system drive on a larger one that was to replace it, but I ended up using the new one just for all the apps which I moved there from C:, but Trados remained untouched. Wondering though, if the cloning itself may have triggered some kind of piracy alarm...
I'm unable to launch Trados, one of my main means of work, so I will be very grateful for any help with this.
