I am using Trados Studio 2021 Freelancer, upgraded to version SR2 - 16.2.129338 yesterday.
Since the upgrade, Studio won't start up. Whenever I try to do it, the following error message appears:

Please advise have you followed also the steps indicated on this link: Error "Service 'Sdl.TranslationStudio.Api.ProjectManagement.IProjectManagementService' could not be started" when starting Trados Studio?
Kindly inform us if the error persists.

Thanks for your message.
I did try the steps indicated on that link, but in Windows Security, under Virus and Threat Protection, I CANNOT see any section named Ransomware protection. If I search for that app directly, a message appears reading "Page not available. Your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app, and the item you tried to access is not available. Contact IT helpdesk for more information."
What do you recommend to do in this situation? Nothing works and I am not sure if uninstalling/reinstalling Trados will help.

Please do Workaround 2 from this link https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001414 Uninstalling and reinstalling does not solve errors, so I would advise against it.

Hi Elisa,
I did try Workaround 2 with no success. Initially, it seems like Trados is starting up, but then after a couple of seconds, the same error message appears.
Please advice what else can be done to solve the issue. Thanks!
