Could not connect to Activation server (403) Forbidden - Trados 2021

Hello!

I have a license for Trados Studio 2021 Professional, which I sometimes need to deactivate on one computer and activate on a different one. It has worked for the last 3 years.

However, the last few days, when trying to activate it as usual on one of the computers, I've been receiving the message "Could not connect to activation server (403) Forbidden". On the other computer, it works normally.

Things I've tried:

- activating with the VPN connection both on and off (I use a VPN to connect to a server at work)

- deactivating the license offline and activating it offline on the "bad" computer, but it's a tedious process and takes a lot of time

- resetting the license online

- trying to activate the license on the "bad" computer when it was active on the "good" computer (the same error, not the expected "License is busy")

- activating it on another computer

...and it still produces the same error when trying to activate it.

I also tried updating the Trados Studio on the "bad" computer to CU12 (the version number is 16.2.9.9198), but trying to install it produces another error: "502 ERROR. The request could not be satisfied. CloudFront wasn't able to connect to the origin. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner. If you provide content to customers through CloudFront, you can find steps to troubleshoot and help prevent this error by reviewing the CloudFront documentation."

For reference, the version on the "good" computer is 16.2.12.9338.

Can you please let me know if there's a workaround to that? What I'm trying to achieve it the ability to freely deactivate and activate the license as I please, without the need to resort to offline (de)activation every time I need to do this.

Thanks in advance!
