Hi,

I've recently purchased the upgrade from Trados 2021 FL to Trados 2024 FL. I’ve downloaded and installed Studio 2024 according to the installation guide.

However, I have a problem. When I tried activating the activation code on Studio 2024 (using my usual activation code from the perpetual license), I got the following error: "Invalid Product Key. Make sure the Product Key belongs to the intended product or product version. Error ID: 82778310 Open connection settings?"

I then checked my account on the RWS portal and noticed it said on the Licenses section: "You have 1 upgrade available. Click here to upgrade your licenses." Considering it warns that this process is not reversible, I want to make sure I'm doing everything correctly otherwise I risk having the older version deactivated and only a trial version for the 2024 Studio.

My doubt is: Do I only need to do the license upgrade on the RWS portal? Or do I need to first deactivate the 2021 license on the Trados Studio 2021 and then do the license upgrade on the RWS portal?
