The license gets activated by clicking Activate and pasting the license code in there. Your license code can be found at this link https://oos.sdl.com/asp/products/ssl/account/mylicenses/licenses.aspx

Otherwise, if you don't activate, it will run in trial mode and expire automatically 30 days from installation.

The thing is that it is an upgrade, and it looks like an initial purchase. If I activate the trial, than after 30 days my license will end!! 

Is there any other way of activation or to get the license going on after the 30 days trial?

The program requires activation. I have instructed you on the steps to activate the program. There is no such thing as trial activation. You did not receive an activation code to activate some trial version, you received it to activate your purchased product. Why would we advise you to activate a trial if you already own Trados 2024?

The software is the same for trial, initial version and upgrade. 
Whenever you install a version on a PC for the first time, it runs in trial for 30 days. This also applies to upgrades.
In your case, this means that you have 30 days to enter your activation code, but you may as well do it now, in which case Studio will then run in fully activated mode and not in trial any more.
