You can install the program from your RWS account, Products and Plans - Downloads. oos.sdl.com/.../mydownloads.asp

But for activation please go to Products and Plans - Licenses and try to reset the license. Afterwards, please wait for 30 minutes, then try to activate your Trados.

As for Deepl, you can download the version compatible with Trados 2017 at this link https://appstore.rws.com/Plugin/24

You add the plugin from Project settings, All language pairs - Translation memories and automated translation.

If interested in purchasing the latest version, please see https://www.trados.com/pricing You cannot upgrade from Trados 2017, you can only purchase a new license/subscription.

I have tried to follow your instructions but it seems that I have installed a test version of Trados Studio 2017 on my notebook and the activation process did not work.  I think, however, that the resetting process worked. 

Is the activation code for Trados Studio 2017   xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx or something else? This is the code that appears above "Trados Studio 2017 Freelance" on the screen under "Licenses & Subscriptions".

Yes, please try and use the activation code to activate the product. If you do not activate it, it will run in trial mode.

When, after starting Trados Studio 2017,  I enter the code found above "Trados Studio 2017 Freelance" on the screen under "Licenses & Subscriptions", I get the following error message :


My questions are: 1) Am I entering the right code? and 2/) Should I try clicking on "Alternative Aktivierungsoptionen"?
