Do you have Windows on your Mac? Please note otherwise it won't work.
Trados Studio is an application built for the Microsoft Windows environment. Studio cannot be installed directly to the Apple Mac operating system OSX.
To transfer the license, please deactivate it from Trados, Help - Product activation. Then install Trados on the new PC from your RWS account, Products and Plans - Downloads, oos.sdl.com/.../mydownloads.asp The activation code is in Products and Plans - Licenses.

Thank you for your answer. Yes, I do have Windows on my Mac. I've already used a few versions of Trados Studio and I've always been a mac user

Sorry for the late answer.
As a matter of fact, I didn't.
My new Mac is an Apple Silicon iMac and I couldn't manage to run Parallels nor MacOS VM. I was in a rush to start a new translation project and unfortunately I am working on my old Intel Mac laptop.

Just a small note about Parallels on a Silicon Mac: you need to install the ARM version of Windows and have at least Parallels version 19.
