Hi,
I currently have Trados Studio 2021 Freelance, but I need to install it on two different laptops.
I can see that there are options to upgrade from Freelance Plus to Freelance Plus, but I cannot find the ones from Freelance to Freelance Plus.
Would it be better to buy a new Trados Studio 2024 Freelance?

We no longer offer the option to Upgrade from Trados Studio Freelance to Freelance Plus.
Freelance Plus licenses were created several years ago to enable Freelance Translators to have 2 activations on 2 machines for one named user. For example: 1 x activation on their PC and 1 x activation on their laptop.
Over the years not only has technology moved forward but so has Trados Studio. Effectively since the launch of Studio 2021, with Trados Studio Freelance you receive 2 activations – 1 x desktop and 1 x cloud and can access your cloud activation from any machine that has an internet connection via the follow url: https://languagecloud.sdl.com/
