What antivirus are you using? Trados Studio is not at fault here, the problem you are trying to resolve is that of your Antivirus tool blocking its operation. Did you tried to uninstall the antivirus first or to stop to run it?
Also try the workaround steps from the following link: Trados Studio could not find temporary files or gives "Access to the path... is denied" error when performing an operation (Antivirus Allow List / Exclusion List) (sdl.com).

Actually, the first message I get when I try to install the new version is this:
If I disable the antivirus to install Studio, can I then reactivate it afterwards?

Reactivating the antivirus SW once Studio has been properly installed should not create any problems.
