Cannot active TRADOS 2014 Freelance Plus - SocketError2 - 77

Question

Hello all, I have an SDL Trados Studio 2014 SP2 - 11.2.4435.12 Freelance Plus license. My laptop was stolen in 2022. I've tried many ways to install the extra activation in my new laptop (activation code, offline activation, etc) but it didn&rsquo;t work. I'm writing here as I received the error message: "Activation failed. Socket error2-77" when entering the activation code, and after trying to get the activation certificate entering the installation ID I got an error message. I don&rsquo;t need a new license as I bought a perpetual licensed product, and the 2014 version still works for my clients. 
 I really appreciate your help-support with this issue.

 Unfortunately, we no longer offer license resets for the 2014 version , please check out the following link for our current lineup of Trados products: End of Life Information for Trados 2007, Trados Studio 2009, 2011 and 2014 License Resets and Installation .
