SDL Trados Studio 2015 SR3 installation problem - file has changed since initially published - retry the download - fails

Error message during SDL Trados Studio 2015 SR3 setup indicating that a file has changed since it was initially published with options to retry the download or cancel the setup.

Hello,

I have had the 2015 licence for many years but my Windows laptop broke down and I had it repaired, which resulted in it being completely wiped and everything re-installed.

I am trying to reinstall Trados Studio 2015 again but I am getting an error message that the file has changed since initially published - retry the download - and when I retry it fails, so I am getting nowhere.

I would appreciate any advice anyone might be able to offer.

Thanks! Dorota

  • Hi Sorin,

Thanks so much for getting back to me with these suggestions. The manual install did not work but one of the suggestions in the article did work.

Unfortunately, I cannot activate my licence for some reason, either online or offline. I am not sure what to do, in my SDL account it seems that the licence is in use even though it has been deactivated from ages and that I am unable to log into the Studio as it is asking me to activate the licence. Screenshot of the error attached. Would be great to get this sorted out so help much appreciated.

Screenshot showing an error message during product activation. The message reads: 'Activation failed. Could not connect to the activation server. Check the activation server address in the provider settings. - The request was aborted: Could not create SSLTLS secure channel.'
