Upgrade from Trados Studio 2019 Freelance to Trados Studio 2024 Freelance

Hello!

I have purchased this upgrade, managed to install the new version, but it seems that nothing from my data (TMs, TBs) have been taken over from the previous version. Is this normal? Or did I miss something during the upgrade process?
Thank you for your help.

I'm afraid so.  These sort of resources, and also projects, are saved by default in folders related to the version of Studio you are working on.  You do not have to save them there, you could save them anywhere on your computer which does make it easier when moving between versions or even from one computer to another.

Going from 2019 to 2024 probably won't require any complicated upgrading process, you just have to either point 2024 to the location you saved them, or copy them to somewhere more appropriate and point 2024 to them there.  I would recommend copying them into a folder that is not in your OneDrive file path and always create new ones as needed in the same place.
