INstallation problem Error 1722

Hello,

I tried to install the trial Studio version 2015 and the following message appeared:

error 1722

there is a problem with this windows Installaer package. A programm run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel.

I use Windows 8.1

Can you help, please ?

    I'd download the installer again and run it to make sure it was not corrupt... the error message is indicative of this. If you still can't resolve it then do contact support as suggested. You can do this through the solution finder. Go to the Knowledgebase;

    Then go to the tab called Solution Finder ( http://kb.sdl.com/?cid=23&tab=sf ) and now go here;

    Download & Installation Problems
    - I use SDL Trados Studio and/or SDL MultiTerm 2011, 2014 or 2015
    -- I receive an error message during installation
    --- etc...

    Follow the options and if nothing helps when you get to the end you'll be presented with a form to contact support. Complete all the fields in the form making sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.

    Also use the Chrome browser to log the case if you have it; you'll get more success in completing the form.
