Technical issue Studio 2024

I've bought and installed Studio 2024 and, unfortunately, I can't make it cohabit with Studio 2021. I have a message telling me that if I permanently install the 2024 licence, Studio 2021 will no longer work. As I still have customers like Philips who want to work with Studio 2021, I temporarily deinstalled Studio 2024. Since then, my projects no longer open directly with the Groupshare link, and worse, they open with MemoQ. All Studio packages have now an extension in MemoQ. So I always have to ask the project manager to send me a Studio package, which I then open ‘manually’ in Studio 2021.
Do you think I should deinstall Studio 2021 too? And reinstall it?

    Go to Windows settings, chose Apps, go to Standard apps, scroll down to see Chose apps according to file name extension and change the file associations there. This is typical memoQ, it steals all translatable files and resources from Studio. But this is simple to solve.

    As for TS2024 and TS2021 - an activated TS2021 should remain functional even after installing TS2024. But as I am not sure, maybe could confirm this. Thanks, Paul.

    Thank you for your help! I followed the steps, but when I click on MemoQ extension to choose Studio, Studio is not proposed. Only Microsoft Store.

    You simply need to chose the option to select other programs. Studio is installed here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio18

    Simply point windows to SDLTradosStudio.exe in that location. This will work.
