I have Studio 2021 Freelance Plus with two activations. They both look in use, but I need to deactivate one of them as it is in a laptop that is beyond repair. I tried to deactivate it offline, but with no success. I need to resolve this issue before upgrading the license to Studio 2024 Plus in order to use it on both my desktop and my working laptop. Can I anyone help me please? Thank you.
You do not need to deactivate Trados 2021. You can simply uninstall it. After you process the upgrade to Trados 2024, you won't be able to use Trados 2021 anymore, so please make sure all your Trados 2021 files/projects are saved.
You can process the upgrade to Trados 2024 from your RWS account https://oos.sdl.com/asp/products/ssl/account/mylicenses/licenses.aspx
Then install Trados 2024 from Products and Plans - Downloads. Please use the activation code generated after processing the upgrade.

Hi Elisa,
many thanks for your reply and I definitely want to deactivate one of the activation codes for Studio 2021 first please, so that it shows as one in use and 1 available (I cannot deactivate the one on a laptop I have no longer access to).
Can you help me with that please?

There is no need to deactivate Trados 2021 in order to use Trados 2024. Or do you want to switch to Trados 2024 later and use Trados 2021 for now?

yes, I am going to keep going with Studio 2021 for now please and I need to use it on a new computer, but I need to free up one of the activations as they show as both in use.
I tried to deactivate one of them offline, but I had no success with that.
