I can’t deactivate my license (a one year student license) on my old laptop that broke down from my new computer in order to activate it on my new computer. I have no way of entering the old laptop as it is broken. How do i deactivate the license on my old laptop so that I can activate it on my new one? I looked at the video for deactivating offline but it shows buttons that I don’t have on my RWS page. When I open the activation button from inside Studio there is no button saying “deactivate”, the button only says “activate”, but when I click on it it says I have already reached the  limit number of activation on devices of my license, so it seems my license is still activated. But there is no way of deactivating it.

My license was bought last year and it was then Studio 2022. I downloaded Studio 2024 to the new laptop - does this matter? Should I have downloaded the Studio 2022 instead? Does the license only support the 2022 version? Or what could be the problem here?
