Studio 2024 not launching

I installed the Studio 2024 18.01.2259 Freelance (annual subscription) a couple of months ago and didn't have any problems launching the setup wizard or with launching the programme. A few days ago Studio failed to open and I have not been able to open it since. I posted the below question to the technical chat team on the RWS website:

Studio 2024 is not starting/launching despite multiple attempts to open it from windows search bar and the desktop icon. Restarting my computer has not solved the issue. The icon appears on my taskbar and a loading window pops up on my screen but then both disappear. [...] I cannot do any work on the tool. I haven't tried uninstalling the programme as I am afraid that this will cause issues with licensing.

Kindly perform a Trados reset following the indications from Workaround 2: Repairing your installation of Trados Studio, and please let me know if works.

My response:
I tried workaround 2, Studio launched the setup wizard as a new user (the same steps regarding user profile etc. as I had to do when I initially installed Studio) but after I clicked 'Finish' on the wizard it disappeared. I tried workaround 1, 3 and then 2 again, and have restarted my computer, but Studio is not opening at all now, not even as getting as far as a start up wizard or the window displaying 'Loading application modules...'.

They asked me to post the issue here. Should I try the Freshstart app mentioned in workaround 4? Studio is still not launching, the pop-up window displaying 'Loading application modules...' appears briefly but then disappears as the programme fails to start.
