I purchased a new perpetual license for Trados 2024 Freelance (version 18.0.1.2259) and installed on 10 Jan. The installation and activation was fine and I used the program for a while. After closing, it no longer launches at all. The start up window opens but the program always crashes at the Creating application window step. I tried the reset by renaming as c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio18_old\ but it didn't help. I'm using a new computer with Windows 11 and Office 2021 and no other versions of Trados installed on it.
All help would be appreciated so I can start using the new version.
