Yes, you need to deactivate the license on both computers so they become available to activate on the new computers. Please check the videos here, as we show how to activate and deactive licenses:

Then you can download the installer for Trados from your RWS Account - Downloads section and install and activate the license one computer at a time.

Please also keep in mind that the technical and engineering support for Trados 2017 ended some years ago and we can only guarantee on what operating system Trados 2017 functions properly up until the last one that was tested, and you can check them here:

Hi Anca,

thank you for your answer, but it doesn't work. I did as in the tutorial, but then I get this answer:

Deactivation was not successful. Unable to revoke this licence. Unable to connect to the activation server. Check the address of the activation server in the provider settings. Request cancelled. Unable to create SSL/TLS secure channel.

I don't understand what they mean and don't know where to check in the provider settings. Which provider?
